The Hunger Games is a movie based on the book, ”The Hunger Games”. The movie is about fighting for survival and hunting. The Hunger Games is a sport of luck, and if you’re lucky, you wont die… The book and movie was written and directed by the author, Suzane Collins. She is one of my favorite authors and I love reading her books. A lot of people in my school have seen the movie and read the book, so I’m guessing it’s very popular. The book has a series. The first book is called ”The Hunger Games”. The second book is called ”Fire Catcher”, and the thrid book is called ”Mocking Jay”. Mocking Jay is a bird, and in the movie, the main character, Catniss, was given a pin from her district (12), with a Mocking Jay on it. It was for good luck. Her sister Prim, was supposed to be in The Hunger Games, when Catniss volunteered for her because she didn’t want Prim to be killed. The movie is an amazing movie (PG-13) and I think you should see this, AWESOME movie too!

People are often seeing a film before reading a lot of reviews about it by other critics. Which is just the way I saw-and everyone ought to see The Hunger Games. Not only will a lot of people have read reviews of the picture, many also will have spent sleepless nights with the book on which it is based, by Suzanne Collins.

But even those folks should find new cause for nail biting and nervous twitching in the film, where the Capitol unfolds the story of a boy and girl from the twelve districts to fight to the death on live television.

Is he or she imagining it all? Is it really happening to her? The viewer is perpetually mystified about what might be or actually is occurring. As Katniss Everdeen volunteers to take her younger sister’s place for the latest match is perfect from beginning of film to end. We watch her own happiness turn into a nightmare which is no one will believe is true, and the emotional and physical transformation is painfully well-depicted.
